Quanne McCutchen, whose photos taken three years ago can be seen in the Portfolios section of musclephotos.com, is one of the most talented young natural bodybuilders currently competing. He's a responsible young man who works two and sometimes three jobs as a security guard in order to support himself, his lady, and a child. And, if ever there were a bodybuilder who deserves wide support, we think he's the one.

This year, a generous sponsor helped Quanne financially so he could come from his home in New York to the Mr. America competition in Santa Clara, California. This is a non-drug-tested show, and there were definitely people in it who looked like they weren't gaining size just by eating broccoli, baked potatoes, and chicken breasts. Quanne took third place in the lightweight division. More significantly, he also received an award for "Best Abs in Show."

One of the best things he gained from participating in this competition was the chance to meet other, very accomplished, but older bodybuilders, who took him under their wing and gave him excellent advice. Back in Manhattan now, he's following their training suggestions. If he brings his legs up to the same quality as his upper body, he stands a good chance in the next year or two of winning the Mr. America title as a middleweight.

In 2005, he aims to compete in two California competitions. First, in October, will be the Mr. America. Then, about a month later, he'd like to come out to Pasadena for the Musclemania World Championships.

At musclephotos.com, we're committed to finding ways to help him achieve his 2005 competitive goals. Next year he may well receive assistance from several generous donors who helped him come to the Mr. America in 2004. Nothing, however, is definite. And to advance his career he needs to compete in not one, but two California competitions. Because he has a wide following among visitors to musclephotos.com, we're forming Team Quanne 2005 to help him.

The major expenses he needs help with include two roundtrip airfares between New York and California ($250 each, or $500), five nights of hotel ($100 per night, or $500), and about $200 for food. The total comes to $1,200.

You can help this talented athlete by joining Team Quanne 2005. For a year's dues of $35, you will receive the following.
