You may remember Dave DuPre from the movie "Pumping Iron," quite
a few years ago. Dave is still pumping iron, and, at 55, he's in better shape
than most men at 35. When he was in his prime, bodybuilders were regarded as
very strange beings. The sport lacked a reward system, and it was almost
impossible to make a living at it.
Then came Arnold, and his phenomenal success, and bodybuilding
has never been the same. But for most men who pumped iron back in those days,
there was no gloryonly the pleasure of being the best they could be.
